Welcome to Declaration Entertainment, and the future of film-financing. Starting today, you have a voice in the kinds of movies that get made. We will always endeavor to represent you, our Citizen Producers.
Of course, to do this, we have to hear from you. Feel free to drop us an email, shoot us a comment, or create entire forum conversations at the Townhall. Bill and I will drop in as often as we can to join the discussion, but first and foremost, this is a membership driven community, so don't wait for us - Jump on in.
Over the coming weeks, we'll be posting more and more content about the two movies in the Pipeline - AURORA and THE ARROYO. We are also busy looking for other films that we think will speak to the values we all share.
So thanks again for joining the movement. Together, we can make a difference in our culture and our country.

I look foreward to seeing what comes down the line, and I even hope to have a more direct impact on making that a reality, than just through my input and member dues. If you ever need an Editor, Cameraman, Grip or PA, I'm your man!

I am not very happy with the direction for "The Arroyo" plot,as noted by the writers. Way to much of the same "touchy - feely" one man alone in a tragic situation for Americans and Mexicans alike. NO! Foreigners are the invaders and Americans are the ones being hurt. I don't want to see one guy wandenering around alone, trying to fend off an army of bad drug lords while having sympathy for all the poor little felons, just looking for a better life. Crap!
I want to see Americans banding together (as we always did when the outlaws came to town or the indians were on the prowl), and together "put the hurt" on all the invaders. Lets cheer American ingeniuity, in the face of a determined evil.
I want to see IUDs on the drug runner trails (surprise --BOOM), I want to see the communities band together and put in stretches of land mines, I want to see Americans from all States come for BBQs and the "good night-time hunting". Not this "one lone guy" crap! Everybody knows - one lone guy, nomatter how good, is no match for a bunch of bad guys, bent on making money. They know where he lives and he is soon dead. Get real!!
So lets get the touchy - feely, and bad thinking out of this script and put in Americanism!
The value that this movies should show is "Americans United can win anything we want to win" - not lonelyness and hopelessness against an overwelming tide of evil and poor little victums.

To be honest I've violated
To be honest I've violated the second rule of internet communication. The first being don't drink and e-mail, the second don't drink and blog. While I'm very excited about this new portal to changing how we are entertained, I'm not too excited as to how to go about suggesting new ideas. I'm sure it's an easy link and available to members, but remember, I'm like Stephen Green here. I would LOVE to see an actual adaptation of any great Heinlein novel to the movie format. Starship Troopers, not the Verhoven version (eye candy, but not representative), Sixth Column, or The Moon is a Harsh Mistress. The last may be the easiest to adapt to the screen with a minimum of expensive special effects.
I would like some guidance if this is not the right forum to continue this conversation.
Respectfully,
John Hammond
