My Pension Check is 48
My Pension Check is 48 dollars smaller this month, due to an increase in the medical insurance deductable going up that amount.
"No New Taxes!" Well, you can call it what you want. If the government regulates an industry with new fees, that industry will do the logical thing, and pass the cost on to the consumer.
It may be a "fee" imposed on the Medical Insurance Company by the government ... but it feels the same as a "Tax", down here where the pension checks arrive in mailboxes!
